China's State Council supports Shandong in vigorously developing renewable energy

The State Council recently issued opinions on supporting Shandong in deepening the transformation of old and new growth drivers and promoting green, low-carbon, and high-quality development, supporting Shandong in vigorously developing renewable energy and building a far-reaching offshore wind power base with a level of 10 million kilowatts. In June this year, nine ministries and commissions jointly issued the 14th Five-Year Plan for Renewable Energy Development to promote the construction of offshore wind power bases in an orderly manner. Shandong said in the Action Plan for Energy Security Network Construction released in June that it plans to start 5GW of offshore wind power by 2022, and 8Gw of 12GW by 2025, and 35GW that will be completed by 2030 (18.5 times that of 2022).


In terms of subsidies, on April 1, after Guangdong Province, Shandong second clearly issued the provincial subsidy for offshore wind power and held a new press conference to interpret the "Shandong Province 2022" High-quality Development Policy List of "Seeking Progress in Stability" (the second batch) ", pointing out that it vigorously supports the development and construction of offshore wind power. For the 14th Five-Year Plan offshore wind power projects connected to the grid from 2022 to 2024, the provincial finance will give sub-subsidies at the standards of 800 yuan, 500 yuan, and 300 yuan per kilowatt respectively, and the subsidy scale will not exceed 2 million kilowatts and 3.4 million kilowatts of 1.6 million kilowatts respectively.
