GE Renewable Energy providing turbines for GPI’s 79MW wind farm in Japan
Green Power Investment (GPI) has chosen GE Renewable Energy as the turbine supplier of the developer’s Fukaura onshore wind farm in Japan. The 79MW project will receive 19 turbines of GE’s 4.2-117 model. The contract also establishes a 10-year maintenance agreement with possible a possible extension. Installation of the turbines will start in the first half of 2023, with entire operations scheduled for 2024.
